Best-looking DIO wheel package I think I’ve seen come through the shop. 14 Tacoma Double Cab TRD in here for leather - truck already has 87k on it.

Those are very nice. The tires look straight out of 2005, though. Don’t see too many anymore that don’t have “graphics” molded into the sidewall.

Apparently plain tires with white lettering is the new trend. I was totally unaware until a few days ago. I want to like them, but practically they’re going to show every little scuff.

TRD has always done a good job with rims. The TRD “Rock Crusher” rims are frequently swapped over to Land Cruiser’s which looks great.

These do have one advantage in that they’re much easier to scrub. The graphic crap just catches the bristles on my brush and makes it a pain.

When the time comes for tires for the jeep, I want to powdercoat the wheels white and put some outlined white letter tires on it.

That wheel arch looks awful. I can’t say I’ve noticed on trucks in the wild, so maybe the crop just calls extra attention to it.

I’m just not a fan of the “all black” wheel and tire thing. It's like a huge void under the wheel wells. Someone suggested bronze. That'd be hot.
